The HSI Basic Life Support (BLS) program at Capital Ambulance is a comprehensive training course aimed at equipping participants with the essential knowledge and proficiency in high-quality CPR skills and teamwork for adults, children, and infants. The program aligns with the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations endorsed by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and complies with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, along with annual Guidelines Updates.

  1. Single Rescuer Chest Compressions and Breaths:
  • Proficient execution of chest compressions and rescue breaths by a single rescuer.
  1. BLS in Special Circumstances:
  • Comprehensive training for various scenarios, including Single Rescuer BLS Practice, Multiple Rescuer BLS, CPR with Advance Airway, Drowning, and Pregnancy.
  1. Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (Mild/Severe Blockage):
  • Recognition and management of foreign body airway obstructions, addressing both mild and severe blockages.
